Pasargad Petrogas Services Marine division provides in-service design and professional support services to the Offshore and Marine Industries worldwide. Pasargad Petrogas Marine (PPM) has the skills and experience necessary to assist vessel owners and operators to modify, maintain and upgrade their assets rapidly to ensure maximum availability, profitability and safely. DESIGN SUPPORT PPM provides a wide range of in-service support including: Providing rapid support to resolve Technical Queries. Undertake feasibility studies and concept design for modifications and upgrades. Providing detailed engineering design packages. Managing obsolescence through design consultancy. Undertake life expectancy evaluations. Provide accurate 3 Dimensional laser surveys of complex structures/sites. Provide a configuration control document management and service. PPM recognises the need to provide in-service design support to keep pace with process plant/equipment modifications. Our multi-disciplined engineering skills specialise in providing design changes for modifications/upgrades all types of Offshore, and marine assets. The companys core engineering disciplines enable PPM to offer a complete support service where we provide everything from individual feasibility studies to detailed engineering design modification packages, encompassing changes to: Pipe systems (hull and process), Load bearing and support structure, Electrical/mechanical equipment, Electrical distribution and lighting, Accommodation layouts and outfitting, Safety systems and arrangements, Communication and navigation systems. INFORMATION MANAGEMENT SERVICES PPM can provide an information management service which structures, collates, manages and delivers a design documentation package on completion of the project. Information can include calculations, drawings, documents, schedules and test results. In addition, it is important to consider the use of these documents in the on-going operations and maintenance cycles. As such PPM can provide a service that manages the entire life through support documentation. PPM , though our corporate links, would seek to offer this software to our clients. The software, (IMS-Lifesoft) is a personal computer based Content Management system enabling a managed engineering data information service. This will assist personnel, involved with the through life support of any vessel/platform, to undertake their jobs more effectively and efficiently by allowing easy access to the information when and where they require it. IMS-Lifesoft, although innovative, is well proven in-service. A web enabled, hosted service is in place and allows more than 1000 users from eight different sites throughout the United Kingdom access to the engineering drawing and support information. To complement this land-based network, portable IMS-Lifesoft systems are deployed on board a number of vessels. The advantages of IMS-Lifesoft include: 10 times faster access to information 75% reduction in publication costs 75% reduction in training costs 25% reduction in information in updating costs Web enabled viewing minimising licence costs LASER MAPPING SERVICE PPM can provide, through our corporate links, a state of the art, 3-Dimensional laser mapping service, which captures positional information about complex structures and sites for the production of electronic drawings. The service is provided in the following phases: Select and initiate an area/object(s) to be scanned, at 1000 points per second. Register (stitch) together multiple scans to cover the required area/object(s). Transform the captured raw data into a 3 Dimensional Model. Extract 2D & 3D drawing files. The benefits of our service as compared to traditional methods of measuring include: Speed of data capture, between 30% to 40% quicker. Only 2 people required.
